Medion Multimedia RF Keyboard

Mappings between 'keycodes' and Xorg bindings can be added to allow the multimedia fuction keys to operate.  Listed scan codes were determined by using xev from a terminal.

Xmodmap Configuration

Modify the configuration file ~/.Xmodmap then logout/login
Fedora Core 6 (FC6) has the XF key events database at /usr/share/X11/XKeysymDB

The transmitter for an SW1 postcode is Crystal Palace, therefore channel scanning can be performed with

[mythtv@hf02 ~]$ scandvb /usr/share/dvb-apps/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace > /home/mythtv/.mplayer/channels.conf

I then fed this file into MythTV Channel scanning tool using the option "Provided Channels.conf"
